Job summary

Eastman, headquartered in Kingsport, Tennessee, is seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer to support global plant operations. You will work on rotating equipment (pumps, fans, compressors, turbines) and related systems, serving as SME for equipment standards and capital projects.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, inspections, maintenance planning, and collaboration with vendors. Travel up to 5% and occasional off-shift support may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher.
• 2+ years of relevant experience supporting rotating equipment.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn in fast-paced projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and hands-on skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME engineering support for rotating equipment across plants worldwide.
• Assist with equipment inspections, maintenance planning, and repair recommendations.
• Lead and participate in capital projects for rotating equipment selection, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and adapt across office, production, and maintenance environments.
• Support travel domestically and internationally up to 5% and occasional off-shift work when required.
