Job summary

Eastman Chemical Company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for its Kingsport, Tennessee operations. You will support global sites and the technology organization with diverse projects, from rapid-turnaround to long-range strategic initiatives.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree (ABET-accredited), 4+ years of experience, and proficiency with SolidWorks/MicroStation and P&IDs. PE license is preferred and visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering degree required.
• Minimum 4 years relevant professional experience.
• PE license preferred.
• Experience with design tools and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with maintenance, development, and manufacturing teams to achieve production, reliability, and maintenance objectives.
• Provide project management and engineering support for initiatives.
• Generate improvement ideas and designs; summarize issues and resolutions for leadership.
• Work across design office and operating plant environments; manage multiple projects.
