Job summary

Cordant, a Baker Hughes company, seeks a Rotating Equipment Engineer to deliver field service solutions for critical rotating machinery health. You will evaluate rotor dynamics, vibration data, and customer communications to support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and maintenance activities.

The role requires up to 70% travel, a mechanical engineering degree, and strong communication to become a trusted advisor for clients. Offshore exposure and TWIC eligibility are pluses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and overtime.
• Valid driver's license and passport.
• Eligible to obtain TWIC.
• Occasional overseas/offshore work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose machinery problems from vibration data and observations.
• Travel to customer sites to provide service.
• Submit timely reports with findings and recommendations.
• Build relationships with customers and act as trusted advisor.
• Calculate and oversee placement of balance weights.
• Adhere to HS&E standards and procedures.
