Job summary

Cordant from Baker Hughes is seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer to provide end-to-end service for critical rotating machinery assets. You will evaluate rotor dynamics, diagnose issues, and deliver protection and monitoring solutions on customer sites.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 2 years of industry experience, and the ability to travel up to 70% with overtime. A valid driver’s license and passport are required, and TWIC eligibility may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering a plus).
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience.
• Extensive travel (up to 70%) and significant overtime (paid).
• Valid driver's license and passport (or ability to obtain).
• TWIC eligibility; offshore travel may occur.
• Knowledge of rotating machinery operation and controls systems.
• Experience with vibration analysis and machinery protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose machinery problems based on vibration and operational data.
• Travel to customer sites to provide supporting service.
• Prepare timely reports with findings and recommendations.
• Build relationships with customers to deliver high-quality service.
• Calculate and oversee placement of balance weights.
• Apply health, safety and environment standards.
