Job summary

Cordant from Baker Hughes seeks a Rotating Equipment Engineer to deliver complete service solutions for rotating machinery health, protection, and monitoring. You will evaluate machinery condition based on rotor dynamics and vibration data at customer sites with significant travel.

Requirements include a mechanical engineering degree, 2+ years with large rotating equipment, travel up to 70%, and valid credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Experience with large rotating equipment and vibration analysis.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and obtain TWIC.
• Valid driver’s license and passport; TWIC eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose machinery issues using vibration data and operational information.
• Travel to customer sites to provide supporting service.
• Complete timely reports with findings and recommendations.
• Build relationships with customers as a trusted advisor.
• Calculate and oversee balance weight placement.
• Apply HS&E standards and procedures.
