Starting wage is $26.75 per hour, plus a $1.00 shift differential between 7pm and 7am. Performance Pay can add up to 6% quarterly; compensation may also grow with skills and plant performance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience operating production machinery.
• Experience in a manufacturing, military, or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read a tape measure in both standard and metric units.
• Rotating 12-hour shifts on a 5-2-2-5 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate the line with minimal supervision while meeting safety, productivity, waste, housekeeping, and quality standards.
• Run the line while the lead operator assists other lines or tasks.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjust line equipment.
• Make makeready/changeover setups per production schedules.
• Identify improvements to reduce waste and increase output within quality standards.
• Promote safety and employee involvement to drive excellence.
• Scan material related to the job ticket into Plex and record scrap accurately.
• Maintain and clean machines and work area as needed.
