Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, criminology, public health, or related field.
• Minimum two years supervising, mentoring, or coordinating employees, students, interns, or volunteers.
• Experience managing projects, programs, research studies, or community-based initiatives.
• Commitment to transformational change and advancing equity for youth and families.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Drive.

Responsibilities

• Develop, supervise, and train an advocacy team of around 10–15 students.
• Supervise weekly sessions; maintain advocacy calendars and structures.
• Build relationships with child welfare and juvenile legal systems.
• Coordinate recruitment of advocates and referrals.
• Develop data management systems to track advocacy activities.
• Compile community resources into usable guides for advocates.
• Establish feedback mechanisms with PIs and supervisory staff.
• Troubleshoot implementation challenges and adapt as needed.
• Synthesize insights into accessible materials for agencies and families.
• Handle research administration tasks including expenses and grants.
