Job summary

New York University’s Office of Student Success seeks a leader to head the Outreach and Support team, guiding proactive student contact and personalized assistance across NYU. You will steer data-informed outreach to connect at-risk students with resources and track outcomes.

You will supervise the team, handle complex cases, and evolve campaigns with partners across campus, ensuring inclusive, confidential support and strong collaboration with NYU’s sites.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of case management in higher education within a large decentralized institution.
• Ability to develop campaigns and partnerships that influence student behavior and outcomes.
• Knowledge of FERPA, HIPAA, and student privacy regulations.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication with diverse campus stakeholders.
• Experience managing confidential information and advising on sensitive student cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Outreach and Support team.
• Handle escalated or sensitive student cases personally.
• Design and improve outreach strategy using institutional data and research.
• Represent the NYU Office on cross-campus committees and partnerships.
• Collaborate to streamline early alert processes and training for campus sites.
