IntelliPro is seeking a hands-on Embedded Firmware Engineer with strong ROS2 and robotics software experience for integrating sensing systems with host compute platforms. You will develop real-time sensor streaming, GPU-accelerated image processing, and data collection infrastructure used in robotics development.

The role operates in a fast-paced R&D environment where requirements evolve as products mature. You will troubleshoot embedded robotics systems and work on-site in Sunnyvale, CA.

Competenze

• 5+ years of software development experience in C++ and/or Python.
• Hands-on ROS2 development including nodes, topics, services, and launch systems.
• Experience streaming real-time sensor data from cameras, depth sensors, or IMUs.
• Experience with robotics data pipelines and rosbag2 for recording and analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex hardware/software integration.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and maintain ROS2 nodes for robotic sensor modules.
• Develop GPU-accelerated image processing pipelines for real-time data.
• Integrate vendor SDKs into ROS2 packages for reproducible builds.
• Build data collection infrastructure for testing and evaluation.
• Characterize latency and optimize performance across pipelines.
• Record, replay, and analyze sensor data with rosbag2.
• Collaborate with researchers to translate concepts into robust software.
