Job summary

Computational Physics Inc. is seeking a Robotics Engineer for a full-time role at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC, with remote work flexibility. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in science, mathematics, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years test and integration with a Bachelor's, or 2+ years with a Master's.
• Expertise with ROS1 Noetic and ROS2 Jazzy or higher.
• Familiarity with Docker networking and multi-container simulations.
• Create custom ROS packages and integrate off-the-shelf packages.
• Git/CICD with GitLab or GitHub, including unit tests and releases.
• Proficiency in Python.

Responsibilities

• Assist in converting ROS1 software to ROS2 and validate changes.
• Develop and conduct unit tests for software stacks.
• Manage configuration of software stacks and simulations.
• Simulate system performance and perform laboratory validation.
• Document code with Integration Control Documents.
