Job summary

TechINT Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to join our Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD team. The role focuses on ROS 2 development, Linux-based systems, and autonomy for aerial robotic platforms.

You will work on building, deploying, and integrating robotic systems with emphasis on navigation, and system integration, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
• Strong experience with ROS 2 (Robot Operating System 2), including nodes, topics, services, actions, and custom messages.
• Solid background in Linux (Ubuntu preferred), including command-line proficiency, system configuration, shell scripting, and development tools like colcon.
• Ability to develop, debug, and launch ROS 2 packages in both physical and simulated environments.

Responsibilities

• This hands-on role involves building, integrating, and testing full robotic systems.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are beneficial.
