Job summary
Doppelmayr USA, Inc. is seeking a Ropeway Project Engineer II to support civil, structural and ropeway project engineering. You will develop foundation drawings, design steel components, and prepare calculations and drawings for permitting, manufacturing, and construction across diverse projects.
You will apply ASCE-7, AISC, and ACI-318 standards, use 3D CAD tools, and collaborate with international teams. Travel up to 10% may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in civil/structural eng with relevant experience.
- FE/EIT certification with supervision of a PE is required.
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles and standards.
- Familiarity with ASCE-7, AISC, ACI-318, ANSI B77.1, and ropeway standards.
- Experience with 3D/2D CAD tools and engineering calculations.
Responsibilities
- Design concrete foundations for terminals, towers, and pads.
- Design structural steel components and ropeway structures.
- Apply lift profile design using rope line calculation software.
- Prepare calculations, specs, drawings for permitting and construction.
- Develop testing procedures to meet project specs and safety rules.
- Collaborate with domestic and international teams and field crews.
