Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge is seeking a Ropes Course Attendant in Garden Grove, CA to ensure guest safety and satisfaction as guests navigate the ropes course. The role involves assisting with guest registration, equipment fitting and safety briefings, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.

Candidates should be at least 18, comfortable with heights, and able to use basic math. Training, benefits, and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Some High School education or equivalent.
• Must be comfortable being at heights of 30 feet or more for extended periods of time.
• Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands.
• Experience utilizing basic math skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Proven customer service skills and communication skills; able to read and interpret English language manuals relating to safety, operations, and procedures.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Registers guests and processes orders at the ropes course.
• Educates guests on safety procedures and proper equipment use.
• Outfits participants with harnesses and safety gear and attaches sling line to overhead track.
• Inspects equipment for safe operation.
• Assists in emergencies and helps frightened participants.
• Maintains adherence to operating procedures and daily routines.
• Delivers excellent customer service and supports suggestive selling.
• Assists in merchandising tasks, inventory, stocking and pricing.
• Handles cash using POS and maintains daily reports.
• Keeps attraction clean, well-presented and safe.
• Completes ropes course and annual training requirements.
• Assists in other retail outlets/attractions as needed.
