Job summary

Turner Industries in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks an experienced Rope Access Welder with SPRAT/IRATA certification to perform maintenance and repair work on industrial equipment while suspended on rope systems.

The role requires high school diploma, ASME welding certifications, TWIC, and the ability to lift 75 pounds. You will work on site with safety-focused procedures and contribute to efficient, safe operations.

Qualifications

• IRATA / SPRAT Level I, II, or III certification required.
• ASME welder certification(s) required.
• TWIC card required.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds and work at height.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug test.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform rope access maintenance, repairs, and other industrial tasks on equipment.
• Follow IRATA/SPRAT standards and use proper PPE.
• Inspect rope access systems and components before use.
• Recognize and report safety hazards; notify Rope Access Supervisor.
• Participate in training and maintain rescue proficiency; assist rescues as needed.
