Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. in Houston, TX, seeks an entry-level Rope Access Technician (IRATA/SPRAT Level I). You will perform work-at-height tasks under supervision, learning systems, and supporting field operations.

Responsibilities include executing tasks while suspended, basic cleaning or coating prep, assisting inspections, and maintaining tethering and safety practices. You will follow established JSAs and site safety rules while building hands-on skills for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Level I, II or III Rope Certification through SPRAT or IRATA.
• API 653, 570 & 510 an asset but not required.
• NDT certs: UT, MT, PT, RT, DR, RAD 40 & state card (TX) an asset but not required.
• Craft Experience & Certs: Coatings, Insulating, Pipe Fitting, Welding, Mechanical.
• Confined space certifications is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform work while suspended using two-rope systems.
• Follow established rigging and access systems (does not design them).
• Carry out tasks such as: Cleaning, coating prep.
• Basic installation or removal work.
• Assisting inspections.
• Maintain tool tethering and dropped-object controls.
• Participate in rescues as directed.
• Follow JSAs, permits, and site safety rules.
