Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a composite technician experienced in rope access to access findings and assist in planning access work. The role involves completing category I–III repairs using UV resin systems, UV fillers, and topcoat materials, and documenting work in BHI's reporting system.

You will help maintain safety standards, mentor junior technicians, and perform related tasks as directed by the field supervisor and blade manager.

Qualifications

• Active/valid SPRAT or IRATA certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable under vehicle policy.
• Pass a background and DMV check.

Responsibilities

• Safely use rope access methods to access findings.
• Help develop access work plan(s).
• Complete repairs to standards (I–III) with UV resin/filler/topcoat systems.
• Use BHI’s reporting system to document repairs and inspections.
• Complete daily forms to maintain safety standards.
• Mentor less experienced technicians.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by field supervisor(s).

We estimate the hourly pay range for this position, which depends on qualifications, to be $22 to $50 per hour.Physical RequirementsPer industry standards, industry standards require BHI's composite technicians to:Climb wind turbines more than 300 feetWork at height (suspended 2m platform, 360° platform, aerial man lift, or rope access)Maintain a valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle recordDemonstrate good working habits including attendance, housekeeping, teamwork, task prioritization, ethics, and communication.
