Job summary

Turner Industries seeks NCCER-certified pipefitters with IRATA/SPRAT rope access credentials for work in the Houston, TX area. The role involves assembling and repairing boilers, tanks, and vessels, using rope access methods and a range of power tools, while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, NCCER certification, IRATA/SPRAT levels, CPR, and preferred TWIC card.

Qualifications

• NCCER certification required.
• IRATA/SPRAT Level 1-3 certification required.
• TWIC card preferred.
• Proficient in reading field drawings and engineering drawings.
• Ability to read tape measures and framing squares.
• Experience with power tools and pipefitting.
• Ability to work at heights and comply with safety policies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, erect, and repair boilers, tanks, vessels per blueprints.
• Use rope access methods to access work areas.
• Operate power tools and prepare pipes for cutting/welding.
• Inspect and install pipe fittings and joints.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
