Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking local Rope Access Insulators for immediate project work in the Greater Houston area. The role involves applying, removing and repairing thermal and acoustic insulation on industrial equipment, with emphasis on safety and accurate interpretation of drawings.

Travel may be required to support field operations. The candidate should have rope access certification levels 1 or 2, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year insulation experience or a related credential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine material requirements.
• Commitment to safety, health and risk management.
• Willingness to be trained and perform other mechanical services as needed.
• Must meet first-aid, CPR, and AED requirements at hire or within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Apply, remove and repair insulation on industrial equipment (pipes, tanks, vessels).
• Read and interpret drawings/specs to determine material needs.
• Provide strong customer service and collaborate with internal/external teams.
