Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking Rope Access Insulators local to the Greater Houston area for project work to start ASAP. The role involves applying and repairing insulation on industrial equipment, reading drawings, and delivering strong customer service while maintaining safety standards.

Ideal candidates have rope access certification (level 1 or 2), a high school diploma or GED, and insulation experience or credentials. Travel to various sites is required as part of this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Rope access certification at level 1 or 2 required.
• First-aid, CPR and AED certification required or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Willingness and ability to travel by any mode (air, rail, ship, ground) with no geographic restrictions.
• One year insulation experience or a valid credential is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply, remove and repair thermal and acoustic insulation on industrial equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine material requirements.
• Provide exemplary customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work within a team to complete tasks on time with quality.
• Maintain safety as a core focus per company procedures.
• Adhere to scope and technique standards as per level of certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
