Job summary

MISTRAS Group has an immediate need for Rope Access Insulators local to the Greater Houston area for project work to start ASAP.

You will apply, remove and repair insulation on pipelines, tanks and other equipment; read drawings and specs to determine material needs; maintain safety and teamwork, and comply with company policies. This is a part-time, on-site opportunity with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Rope access certification Level 1 or 2
• High school diploma or GED
• One year insulation experience or recognized credential
• Willingness to be trained for other mechanical services
• Meets first-aid, CPR, and AED certification requirements at hire or within 60 days
• Willingness to travel without geographic restrictions

Responsibilities

• Apply, remove and repair insulation on industrial equipment
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications for material needs
• Provide exemplary internal and external customer service
• Work effectively in a team to complete tasks on time with high quality
• Adhere to safety procedures and certifications
• Other duties as assigned per company policies
