MISTRAS Group in Conroe, TX is seeking a Rope Access RT Assistant for a long-term project to start as soon as possible. The role involves applying, removing, and repairing insulation on industrial equipment, reading drawings, and delivering safe, quality workmanship on site.

Travel is required as projects move across sites; candidates must be prepared to travel by air, rail, ship, or ground. A strong safety mindset and the ability to work well in a team are essential, with on-going training

Qualifications

• Industrial rope access certification level 1 or 2.
• High school graduate or GED. Relevant advanced certifications are an asset.
• One year insulation experience or valid recognized credential.
• Experience or willingness to be trained or perform other mechanical services as business needs arise.
• Meets the Company’s first-aid, CPR, and AED certification requirements at time of hire or within 60 days thereafter. Current team members must always maintain certification.
• Majority of work will be call out so candidates must have the ability to travel by any means (air, rail, ship, ground, etc.), without geographical limitations or restrictions that might interfere with logistics.

Responsabilités

• Apply, remove and repair insulation on industrial equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine material requirements.
• Provide exemplary customer service and support (internal and external).
• Work within a team to complete operational and administrative assignments on time with quality.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain health and risk management on each job.
• Comply with certification scope and techniques based on level of certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned per company policies.
