Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch seeks a Rooms Operations leader to assist in managing the execution of operations across Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance and Housekeeping. You will monitor standards, lead teams, and strive to improve guest and employee satisfaction while supporting financial performance.

In this role you will work with a collaborative team, ensure guest needs are anticipated, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related experience.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Verifies that goals are translated to the team as they relate to guest tracking and productivity.
• Creates and nurtures a property environment emphasizing motivation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Understands employee and guest satisfaction results and develops plans to attack needs areas.
• Leads by example with energy and enthusiasm.
• Assists employees in understanding guests’ changing needs and expectations.
• Manages operations in rooms area departments (Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, Housekeeping).
• Publishes guest satisfaction results in a timely fashion.
• Takes proactive approaches when dealing with employee concerns.
• Extends professionalism and courtesy to employees and guests at all times.
• Meets with staff to review goals and results.
• Performs other duties, as assigned to meet business needs.
