Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Rooms Inventory Manager to lead daily reservations operations, maximize bungalow revenue, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will oversee reservation systems (Opera, SynXis), coordinate with sales and front office, monitor inventory and rates, and guide the reservations team to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.

The role requires 2–5 years in hotel reservations or revenue management, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proactive approach to upselling

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in hotel reservations, front office, or revenue management.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hotel reservation systems and property management software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems.
• Revenue and occupancy management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the reservations department to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Manage reservation systems and coordinate with sales and front office teams.
• Monitor inventory and rate integrity; lead the reservations team to targets.
• Upsell and convert guests to premium bungalow accommodations.
• Coordinate with wholesalers and travel partners for inventory and blocks.
• Attend Revenue Strategy and departmental meetings; support service standards.
