Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a room service server at Plaza San Antonio to stock, set-up, and deliver all food and beverage orders to guest rooms. You will anticipate guest needs and provide exemplary hospitality while maintaining a professional appearance.

The role requires the ability to work in a high-volume environment, with strong communication and flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays. Training and opportunities to grow within White Lodging are available.

Qualifications

• The room service server will have a passion for service with a positive, can-do attitude.
• A team-player mindset and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Stock, set-up, and deliver all food and beverage orders and property amenities to guest rooms.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality; maintain professionalism.
• Retrieve all food and beverage trays from floors to keep areas neat and sanitary.
• Be knowledgeable of hotel services, menu items, preparation methods, and garnishes; answer guest questions accurately.
• Be an ambassador of our establishment with a neat appearance.
• Listen for and respond to customer needs or concerns to ensure a quality experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Listen for and respond to customer needs, issues, or concerns to ensure a quality experience for all guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
