• Coordinate with room service, hospitality and call center staff for timely delivery.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust prep activities to meet needs.
• Support patient satisfaction through high-quality meals and responsive service.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels; rotate products and prevent waste.
• Complete required food safety, temperature, production and quality documentation.
• Promote dining experiences that support healing and patient well-being.

As a Room Service Cook, you'll prepare high-quality meals for patient room service operations while supporting nutrition goals, food safety standards, and exceptional patient experiences.

What You'll Do

• Prepare meals for patient room service operations in accordance with established recipes, production schedules, and diet orders.
• Follow therapeutic diet requirements and physician-prescribed nutrition plans to ensure patients receive safe and appropriate meals.
• Ensure meal accuracy, quality, presentation, and portion control standards for every meal served.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and infection prevention standards throughout food preparation and service processes.
• Coordinate with room service, hospitality, and call center staff to support timely meal delivery and positive patient experiences.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust food preparation activities to meet patient, department, and operational needs.
• Support patient satisfaction initiatives through preparation of high-quality, appealing meals and responsive service.
• Maintain inventory, stock levels, product rotation, and ingredient freshness to support efficient operations and minimize waste.
• Complete required food safety, temperature, production, and quality documentation accurately and timely.
• Promote exceptional dining experiences that support healing, recovery, and patient well-being.
