Job summary

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to install, inspect, and repair facility systems across hospital and clinic locations. You will troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and related building systems, perform preventive maintenance, and read blueprints to support reliability and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair facility systems and equipment throughout hospital and clinic locations.
• Troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and related building systems according to area of expertise.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and performance.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment specifications.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and evaluations of facility equipment and operational systems.
• Support facility upgrades, construction projects, and infrastructure improvements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and organizational policies.
• Respond to emergency facility issues and operational needs as assigned.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Skilled Maintenance I team members and other staff.
