Job summary

Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando is seeking an In-Room Dining Captain to oversee the hotel's room service operations, manage the server team, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guest rooms.

This role requires at least 1 year of high-volume hospitality experience, strong communication, and attention to detail. You will train staff, monitor supplies, and uphold health and safety standards in a busy resort setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of room service or high-volume hotel experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the room service team to meet service standards.
• Receive orders by phone and relay to kitchen for timely delivery.
• Ensure quality and presentation of orders before delivery.
• Address guest requests and resolve issues related to in-room dining.
• Maintain knowledge of room service menu and dietary restrictions.
• Monitor supplies and coordinate with housekeeping for serviceware.
• Train and coach new staff on procedures and guest interactions.
• Maintain health and safety in assigned areas.
