About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to join our vibrant nursery in Holloway, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional to lead a team in delivering exceptional care and education for children.

As a Room Leader, you will take the lead in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. You’ll work closely with your team, supporting their development and ensuring that all activities align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage your room team to deliver high-quality childcare and learning in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan, implement, and oversee age-appropriate activities that support children's development and individual needs.
• Monitor and document children's progress, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, uphold health and safety standards, and adhere to safeguarding policies.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies, providing regular updates on children’s progress.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a nursery setting, with a track record of leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
