Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking a Room Leader for a leading nursery in the UK. The role focuses on leading a room, delivering high-quality early years education, and fostering strong relationships with children and families.

You will plan engaging activities, coach staff, and ensure safeguarding and safety practices are upheld, with opportunities for ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Senior Nursery Practitioner or ready to step into leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Experience mentoring colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring outstanding standards of care and education.
• Coach and motivate your team to deliver high-quality early years practice.
• Plan engaging activities that promote children's learning, creativity, and development.
• Observe, assess and monitor children's progress in line with the EYFS framework.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Utilise indoor and outdoor spaces to create exciting learning opportunities.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery practice.
• Collaborate with management to continually enhance nursery quality.
