Job summary

Benson's Hospitality Group is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to support, inspect, and coordinate housekeeping activities across hotel rooms and public areas. You will work with the Housekeeping Supervisor on linen inventories, room supplies, and reporting deficiencies to correct issues by the right department.

The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Good attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect daily 20% to 30% of rooms to improve quality and guest satisfaction according to department goals.
• Lead quarterly special projects such as deep cleaning and mattress rotation per brand standards.
• Respond quickly to guest requests and maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, public and common areas.
• Ensure proper presentation of room supplies and amenities in entrance, closet, bath and guest room areas.
• Assist the Manager on Duty in hotel emergencies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager, Supervisor or General Manager.

Coordinate with Housekeeping Supervisor linen inventories, room supply’s and report building deficiencies and place rooms Out Of Order to correct deficiencies by the right department.# **Key Areas of Responsibility and Duties*** Inspect daily 20% to 30% of rooms to improve quality and guest satisfaction according with department goals.* Lead quarterly special projects as deep clean, mattress rotation process per brand standards.* Respond quickly and efficiently to any guest request utilizing formula 4:59* Dominate guest room quadrant (entrance, closet, bath and guest room areas) to ensure proper and perfect presentation of room supply’s and amenities.* Be prepared to assist the Manager on Duty in any hotel emergency.* Perform additional duties as assigned the Housekeeping Manager, Supervisor or General Manager.## Qualifications* Good attention to detail* Ability to work with minimal supervision* Good communication skills**Education:** High School graduate or equivalent. Employee will be exposed to contact with chemical mixtures filling chemical containers and while cleaning rooms.**Physical Activities:**To perform essential functions of this position must be available to stand walk for long periods of time with constant bending, stooping and reaching required. An individual should also be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and may frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
