Job summary

The St. Joe Company / St. Joe Resort Operations is hiring a Room Attendant to clean and service guest rooms to high standards. You will turn on lights, strip and replace linens, and ensure bathrooms are clean and disinfected while maintaining guest privacy.

The role requires a friendly, discreet approach, the ability to follow instructions, and basic English communication. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms daily, turning on lights and preparing room for cleaning.
• Remove and replace linens; prepare and make beds.
• Clean and tidy bathrooms; disinfect all surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust furniture.
• Stock amenities and fresh towels; remove trash and dispose of clutter according to procedures.
• Ensure the security and privacy of guest rooms.
• Perform rotation cleaning duties and complete deep cleans as directed.

Job SummaryThe role of Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms to provide an exceptional experience for guests. This position ensures that all rooms are inviting and clean to the highest standards.
