Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The RA will work with the Housekeeping Management Team to clean guest rooms and public spaces, and may work in the laundry facility, following brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include responding to guest requests, maintaining room cleanliness to Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards, and assisting with deep cleaning as needed.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Frequently standing up, bending, and moving about the facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service in all guest interactions according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Respond to guest complaints and special requests to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas per established standards, including beds, dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms, and trash.
• Notify supervisor when service is completed to allow room occupancy.
• When in laundry, monitor supplies, operate washers/dryers, inspect linens, and store clean items.
