Job Description:

As a member of our hospitality team, the primary responsibility of a Room Attendant is to maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of assigned rooms. Attention to detail and thoroughness are essential to ensure rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role involves picking up trash, changing linens, thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking supplies to ensure efficient service.

Providing exceptional guest service by greeting guests professionally, respecting their privacy, and responding promptly to their needs is a crucial part of this role, creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests.

• Clean and maintain assigned rooms to a high standard of cleanliness, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction.
• Verify and visually inspect all assigned rooms daily, including vacant maintenance (VM) and vacant ready (VR) rooms. Report discrepancies to the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly.
• Recheck rooms at departure times and report room status for efficient turnover.
• Report maintenance issues to the Engineering department or Housekeeping Supervisor for timely repairs.
• Enter guest rooms courteously, knocking and announcing housekeeping presence, respecting privacy.
• Ensure trash is picked up and report missing items.
• Change linens and make beds according to brand standards.
• Thoroughly clean bathrooms, including shower doors, walls, mirrors, tubs, toilets, and floors, and place standard items appropriately.
• Dust furniture, vacuum floors, clean inside drawers, and check under beds.
• Restock the housekeeping cart for the next day, ensuring all supplies are available.
• Return keys and the housekeeping cart at the end of the shift, ensuring proper handover.
