Job Description

The primary responsibility of a Room Attendant is to maintain cleanliness and overall condition of assigned rooms. Attention to detail is essential to ensure rooms meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Tasks include trash removal, linen changes, bathroom cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking supplies. Providing exceptional guest service by greeting guests courteously, respecting privacy, and responding promptly to needs is crucial.

• Clean and maintain assigned rooms to high standards, ensuring guest comfort.
• Inspect rooms daily, including vacant maintenance (VM) and vacant ready (VR) rooms, and report discrepancies.
• Recheck rooms at departure times and update room status with the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Report maintenance issues for timely repairs.
• Enter guest rooms courteously, respecting privacy, and ensure cleanliness and restocking.
• Change linens, make beds, and thoroughly clean bathrooms.
• Dust, vacuum, and organize rooms, including inside drawers and under beds.
• Restock housekeeping carts for the next shift.
• Return keys and carts at shift end.
