The primary responsibility of a Room Attendant is to maintain the cleanliness and overall maintenance of assigned rooms in the hotel. Attention to detail and thoroughness are essential in ensuring that rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Responsibilities include picking up trash, changing linens, thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking supplies for efficient service.

Key duties include:

• Cleaning and maintaining assigned rooms to high standards of cleanliness.
• Visually inspecting rooms daily, reporting discrepancies.
• Rechecking rooms at departure times for turnover.
• Reporting maintenance needs.
• Entering rooms courteously, respecting guest privacy.
• Ensuring all trash is removed and missing items reported.
• Changing linens and making beds according to standards.
• Thorough bathroom cleaning.
• Dusting, vacuuming, and organizing room spaces.
• Restocking supplies.
• Properly ending shifts with key and cart return.
• Handling lost and found items appropriately.
• Removing room service trays and preparing beds as needed.
• Maintaining professionalism and guest hospitality at all times.
