Job Description Summary: The Room Attendant (RA) works with the Housekeeping Management Team to clean guest rooms and public space areas, and/or work in the commercial laundry facility, in accordance with brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering Sonesta Service according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Responding to guest requests and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Cleaning and servicing rooms and public areas per standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and removing trash.
• Reporting completed service or any issues to supervisors.
• Monitoring laundry supplies and operating laundry equipment if assigned.
• Minimizing waste and assisting with deep cleaning projects as needed.
• Reporting repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Handling lost and found items properly.
• Promoting teamwork and ensuring compliance with health and safety laws.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Some housekeeping experience preferred, especially in extended stay industry.
• Fluent English preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, kneel, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Use of commercial cleaning chemicals required.

Additional Information:

Pay range is $18.75 - 19.00/hour, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, hotel discounts, and more.
