Pay: $19-21/hr

Role Details: This is a full-time position for a front desk agent and night auditor, involving 3 evening shifts (3-11pm) and 2 overnight shifts weekly.

Location: Denver’s historic Union Station neighborhood, Hotel Indigo Denver Downtown, features 180 guest rooms and meeting spaces, with direct access to I-25 and RTD Light Rail, placing it centrally in Denver’s vibrant downtown.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting guests and completing check-in procedures using manual and computerized methods.
  • Handling guest departures, closing accounts, and preparing rooms for new guests.
  • Calculating and posting guest charges accurately, maintaining hotel records.
  • Responding to inquiries, taking reservations, and upselling rooms.
  • Maintaining good customer relations and staying informed about hotel events.
  • Operating PBX equipment for calls, wake-up, and guest paging.
  • Managing cash transactions responsibly and maintaining a friendly demeanor.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • No experience required.
  • Knowledge of cash handling, basic customer service, and proficiency in English.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations tactfully, stay organized, and pay attention to details.

Physical Demands: Ability to read, operate computer and telephone equipment, stand for long periods, reach all hotel areas, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment: Indoor, climate-controlled, predominantly standing, with occasional lifting and mobility requirements.
