Responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-the-house areas such as linen rooms and laundry areas, according to company procedures and at a level that meets or exceeds company standards. Additional responsibilities include:

• Stocking carts with sufficient cleaning supplies, equipment, and amenities to properly clean each room.
• Following knocking procedures before entering guest rooms.
• Cleaning assigned guest rooms, ensuring amenities are stocked, and completing the housekeeping checklist.
• Reporting cleaned rooms for supervisor inspection.
• Reporting damages or hazards in guest rooms, such as broken furniture or burned-out lights.
• Securing guest room doors upon exiting.
• Maintaining neatness in corridors and service areas at all times.
• Turning in lost and found items and guest room keys.
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures, safety, and security rules.
• Knowing department fire prevention and emergency procedures.
• Utilizing protective equipment and reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Maintaining a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Performing any other duties as assigned by management and assisting other housekeeping staff as needed.
