Job summary

Loews Regency New York Hotel on Park Avenue is seeking a detail‑driven Room Attendant. You will clean and sanitize guest rooms to high standards, replace linens and amenities, and ensure every space feels welcoming for guests.

The role requires basic English, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, a flexible schedule including weekends, and a commitment to safety and guest satisfaction. Loews offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Previous hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach and bend.
• Ability to push, lift, and pull items weighing up to 25lbs repetitively during entire shift.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms to Loews Hotels' standards.
• Replace linens, amenities, and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Organize cleaning carts and linen closets, ensuring supplies are stocked and used properly.
• Report lost items, suspicious behavior, and any irregularities to supervisors.
• Attend departmental meetings and assist in related areas when needed.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities and services to guests.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
• Deliver friendly, helpful guest interactions that enhance satisfaction.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and departmental procedures for chemical use and emergency situations.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
