Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson is seeking a detail-driven Room Attendant to clean and sanitize guest rooms, replace linens, and maintain supplies to ensure a pristine guest experience.

You will deliver friendly service, follow safety procedures, and support team operations while upholding Loews’ standards of comfort and quality in a luxury desert retreat setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Previous hotel/resort experience preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach and bend.
• Ability to push, lift up to 25lbs repetitively.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms to Loews Hotels' standards.
• Replace linens, amenities, and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Organize cleaning carts and linen closets, ensuring supplies are stocked and used properly.
• Report lost items, suspicious behavior, and irregularities to supervisors.
• Attend departmental meetings and assist in related areas when needed.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities and services to guests.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
• Deliver friendly, helpful guest interactions that enhance satisfaction.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and departmental procedures for chemical use and emergencies.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
