Job summary

Loews Chicago Hotel is seeking a detail-driven Room Attendant to maintain spotless guest rooms and bathrooms to our standards. You will be the heartbeat of the guest experience, delivering efficient, caring service that makes guests feel at home.

The role requires flexible schedules, weekend/holiday availability, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Training and development opportunities are available along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred.
• Previous hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach and bend.
• Ability to push, lift and pull items up to 25lbs repeatedly.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms to Loews standards.
• Replace linens and amenities and report maintenance issues.
• Organize cleaning carts and linen closets and stock supplies.
• Report lost items or irregularities to supervisors.
• Attend meetings and assist in related areas as needed.
• Provide information about hotel facilities and services.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniforms.
• Deliver friendly guest interactions that enhance satisfaction.
• Follow safety protocols for chemicals and emergencies.
• Regular attendance and flexibility for varying schedules.
• Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do:

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms to Loews Hotels’ standards.

• Report lost items, suspicious behavior, and any irregularities to supervisors.
• Attend departmental meetings and assist in related areas when needed.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities and services to guests.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
• Deliver friendly, helpful guest interactions that enhance satisfaction.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and departmental procedures for chemical use and emergency situations.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications Include:

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred.
• Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach and bend.
• Ability to push, lift, and pull items weighing up to 25lbs repetitively during entire shift.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.

The wage for this position is $26.52.
