Job summary

Embassy Suites Brunswick is seeking a Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. You will clean and stock guest rooms to the standards established by the hotel, ensuring comfort and cleanliness for every guest.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning of rooms, making beds, restocking amenities, reporting maintenance issues, and providing information about hotel services to guests. No prior experience required, high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Ability to read basic words and numbers; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning assigned rooms/suites daily.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Cleaning bathrooms and replacing amenities as needed.
• Making beds and restocking room supplies.
• Providing information on hotel services to guests.
• Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.

As our Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and supplying all assigned guest rooms/suites according to the standards established by the hotel.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning assigned rooms/suites daily
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting, brushing and polishing floors and furniture in the rooms
• Cleaning showers, tubs, sinks and bathroom items
• Making beds
• Removing used and replacing guest room amenities as necessary
• Providing information to guests about hotel services, facilities, and other available amenities
• Reporting all room maintenance items to supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; OR 6 months - 1 year related experience and/or training
• Ability to read a limited number of 2 and 3 syllable words
• Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences
• Basic math skills
