Job summary

HRI Hospitality’s Richmond property is seeking a detail‑oriented Room Attendant to clean and service guest rooms and public areas. Located in downtown Richmond’s Miller & Rhoads building, the hotel blends historic charm with modern comforts for business and leisure guests.

Follow established housekeeping procedures, restock supplies, report maintenance issues promptly, and maintain safety standards. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Hospitality environment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, including bathrooms, beds, floors, and amenities.
• Change linens, replace towels, and restock supplies.
• Ensure all rooms meet cleanliness and brand standards.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, carts, and storage areas.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper chemical handling.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and professionally.
• Assist with laundry or public area cleaning as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Pay Range:

$15.00-$20.50The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and public areas to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction. This role follows established housekeeping procedures and works efficiently to support daily hotel operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education
