We are seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to support our Housekeeping Department. Your responsibilities will include cleaning guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction, maintaining the cleanliness of rooms and facilities, and exceeding guest expectations by living the Sanctuary Commitments and our Promise of Care.

Job Functions

Note: the following duties are not all-inclusive:

• Follow a structured cleaning schedule and work well with team members.
• Care for equipment and supplies.
• Report lost and found items immediately.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks: clean, dust, wax, scrub, polish, vacuum, and service guest rooms and patios.
• Replace linens, replenish supplies, and empty waste baskets.
• Rearrange furnishings and provide linens and amenities to guests.
• Stock and prepare cleaning carts for the workday.
• Report occupied rooms not listed, assist team members, report pest infestations, damages, hazards, or strangers in assigned areas.
• Return found items to the Housekeeping department with proper documentation.
• Manage keys responsibly.
• Clean corridors and service areas.
• Respond to requests from Housekeeping management.
• Handle hazardous substances safely and report incidents.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

The candidate should demonstrate the ability to:

• Stand, sit, kneel, and handle demands of guest service.
• Push/pull furniture or equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure environments.
• Be courteous, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Adhere to grooming standards.
• Record work hours accurately.
• Follow emergency procedures and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
