Job Description Summary

The Room Attendant (RA) works with the Housekeeping Management Team to clean guest rooms and public space areas, and/or work in the commercial laundry facility, in accordance with brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Clean and service rooms and public areas following established standards.
• Notify supervisors upon completion of service or report issues.
• Monitor and operate laundry equipment, inspect linens, and report damages.
• Minimize waste and assist with deep cleaning projects.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Handle lost and found items appropriately.
• Promote teamwork and ensure compliance with health and safety laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in extended stay industry beneficial.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
