Position Title: Room Attendant

Immediate Supervisor: Executive Housekeeping Manager

Major Function:

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organizing supplies in guest rooms to exceed guest expectations.

Essential Functions:

1. Provide high-quality service to guests at all times.
2. Clean and prepare rooms daily, including lighting fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows, floors, carpets, and bathrooms.
3. Replenish supplies like glasses and writing materials.
4. Assist in general cleaning tasks, including changing bedding and mattress pads as needed.
5. Complete assigned room projects daily.
6. Assist in carpet care by spot cleaning carpets during room cleaning.
7. Maintain a clean, organized housekeeping cart.
8. Report damaged or inoperative room items to Maintenance.
9. Report discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager.
10. Help keep other hotel areas clean and orderly.
11. Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
12. Communicate effectively with guests in English.
13. Wear proper uniform according to standards.
14. Lift and carry up to 30 pounds; push and pull up to 60 pounds.
15. Know emergency procedures thoroughly.
16. Follow trained cleaning procedures and continue practicing skills.
17. Adhere to safety standards and report hazards immediately.
18. Practice good sanitization habits when cleaning.
19. Follow all work rules, procedures, and policies outlined in the Associate Handbook.
20. Perform other duties as assigned.
