Overview

The role involves maintaining hotel rooms and the building to ensure a safe and clean environment for guests, staff, and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Clean bathrooms, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors using appropriate cleaning tools and agents.
2. Follow cleaning procedures and safety instructions for cleaning agents.
3. Strip and make beds, including changing linens, with lifting up to 50 lbs.
4. Dust furniture, pictures, shelves, and window ledges thoroughly.
5. Vacuum rooms and empty trash bins.
6. Restock amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms.
7. Manage room keys, inspect rooms for cleanliness, and mark completion.
8. Adhere to attendance policies and be available to work regularly.
9. Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to scrub surfaces and work in confined spaces, extending arms overhead.
• Team player willing to assist co-workers.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation.
• Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs., with or without accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability in communication style for different audiences.

Hourly salary range: $29.15 - $38.87
