Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated housekeeping associate for the Courtyard New York Manhattan Fifth Avenue. You will maintain guest rooms and public areas with attention to cleanliness and safety, restocking supplies and assisting in room preparation.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and ability to lift items up to 100 lbs. We offer medical, dental, and vision benefits, a 401(k) with matching funds, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel rooms and building to ensure safe, clean experiences for guests and staff.
• Clean tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors following procedures.
• Strip beds and change linens; assist with lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, pictures, shelves; push/pull vacuum; empty trash; restock amenities.
• Sign for room keys, manage room assignments, and restock supplies as needed.
• Adhere to attendance rules and collaborative work with teammates.

NoOverviewMaintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
