Job summary

The Courtyard New York Manhattan Fifth Avenue is seeking a part-time Room Attendant to maintain clean guest rooms and corridors to HEI Hotels & Resorts standards. You will strip beds, restock supplies, dust surfaces, and ensure overall room readiness for guests.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work well with others, and follow safety protocols while delivering a high standard of cleanliness within a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to scrub and scour surfaces and reach overhead.
• Able to lift and move items up to 100 lbs with assistance if needed.
• Effective communication with supervisors, coworkers and guests.
• Experience with cleaning chemicals and hotel cleaning equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathroom fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces to hotel standards.
• Strip beds and change linens, including heavy bedspreads (up to 50 lbs).
• Dust furniture, ledges, and shelves; vacuum and empty trash.
• Restock amenities and supplies; sign for room keys and return to carts.
• Ensure room cleanliness and report completion to supervisor.
• Attend shifts reliably and work well in a team.

No**Overview**Maintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.### **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.* Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.* Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.* Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.* Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.* Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.* Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
