If so, The Pfister is looking for a Housekeeper to be a part of our team and continue its iconic legacy. As a Housekeeper, you will help make our guests feel at home by preparing our rooms for the next guests, cleaning, restocking items, and helping keep all areas in the hotel clean, neat, and tidy.

Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been a hotel icon for nearly 130 years. As one of the best hotels in Milwaukee and the Midwest, we continue to celebrate a grand tradition of gracious service and impeccable style. What you will be doing:

1. Ensure prompt, superior service to guests.
2. Service stay-over rooms, changing linens, and replenishing amenities.
3. Thoroughly clean check-out rooms, paying attention to detail. Perform bed-making, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, dusting, trash removal, and amenity restocking.
4. Restock supply cart for the next day.
5. Assist with team projects and perform additional assigned duties as needed.

What we are looking for:

• Must be able to work a varied schedule to include evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Availability to work 2nd shift hours from 12pm - 8 pm.
• Previous experience in a similar position such as a guest room attendant or cleaner in hotels, hospitals, casinos, or residential settings is preferred.
• Physical stamina to complete repetitive manual labor tasks. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to represent the company professionally, well-groomed, and courteous.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, stretch, and use a vacuum and push a cart regularly.
